Come see the 2011 Infiniti M

The 2011 Infiniti M is the first of many of the M line to be styled based on the Infiniti Essence Concept car that turned heads at the Chicago and Geneva Auto Shows earlier this year. Here is an excerpt from one of the recent reviews from Auto Blog.

Autoblog.com

“From the outside, there’s little question Infiniti has stepped up the M’s game in a major way. Drawing swoopy inspiration from the Essence concept, the new M is lower, wider and just a smidgen longer. Infiniti hammered home the point that the new car is the first Infiniti product to sport Essence-derived lines, but by no means will it be the last. They showed us a few pictures of the new QX56, and while we sadly can’t share them with you, please take our word for it that the new QX is world’s better looking than the frankly obscene old version.”

We hope you can stop by and see the 2011 Infiniti M in person at the Ft. Worth Auto Show this week.

UNT Going to the NCAA Tournament

The 72nd Annual NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament starts next week and we at Grubbs Infiniti wanted to congratulate the University of North Texas on their winning of the Sun Belt Conference Championship.  This win over Troy (66 - 63) in the Sun Belt title game gave UNT an automatic birth in the 65 team NCAA Division I Tournament.

North Texas (24-8) has won 11 straight and is heading into the NCAA Tournament with a head of steam. We won't know the final brackets until "Selection Sunday" on March 14th when the final teams are selected and brackets are set but we wish UNT the best and hope they go far!

Win a 2011 Infiniti M
Infiniti has partnered with the NCAA Basketball Tournament and will be giving away a 2011 Infiniti M.

What does Infiniti and the NCAA Basketball Tournament have to do with one another? This year Infiniti is a major sponsor of the tournament and a presenting sponsor of the “Bracket Challenge”.

The NCAA Tournament or “March Madness” as it’s affectionately been dubbed has been elevated to one of the top sporting events in the United States. Starting with the conference tournaments and running all the way through to the Final 4 College Basketball takes center stage during the month of March. With the major professional sports of football and baseball in their off season and hockey and basketball not yet into the playoffs it gives the NCAA an opportunity to highlight the tournament across the nation.

March Madness at Infiniti

Brackets
It's become a company wide tradition at many companies to have a "March Madness Pool" or some type of inner company competition. Whether it's sanctioned by the company or under the table even those that have no interest in basketball get consumed by filling out their brackets and seeing how they do versus their friends and co-workers.

Grand Prize - 2011 Infiniti M
This year the Grand Prize in the CBS Sports Bracket contest will be a 2011 Infiniti M valued at approximately $58,000. The winner will be randomly chosen from someone whose bracket is in the top 10% of all the brackets. So the odds of winning are dictated by the number of brackets that are filled out and your ability to pick the right teams.

Motor Trend
"Following in the footsteps of the Lexus GS and on the heels of Mercedes-Benz's introduction of its eighth-generation E-Class, Infiniti is readying the release of the third-gen, 2011 Infiniti M, a sedan that promises to compare favorably -- at least on paper -- with both."
